All day long the song "Danke Shein" has been running through my head.
I was not nearly as comfortable attempting German as I was Italian. And I had a much harder time matching what I was hearing to what I was reading. They would announce the name of the next train stop and I could see it written on the map, but I would still have to double check.
Most of the tourists here are either Indian or Asian. And the Asian ones take their pictures with a tripod. I saw a lot of cameras in Italy, but not one tripod.
The views here are spectacular, but I've realized that I really like the history and art stuff.
